Anyone having iFi ZenStream not showing up in Roon issue after the latest update?

I can still get into the web gui of the iFi and stream music from there, but for whatever reason, iFi is no longer showing up under roon audio devices. My Ropieee bridge and Dac etc are still there.

I tried restart iFi, restart my network routers and switchs, restart my roon core running on a Synology NAS, retart the NAS, and still the same results.

Any help? Thanks.

I don’t have a Zen, but, there might be a setting turning it being a Roon endpoint on or off?

Yes there is, those were turned on. After factory reset the Zen, it no longer works. Guess it’s broken. Time to file a warranty claim with my CC. Only slightly over 1.5 years old. Standard Warranty is 1 year.

Guess I’ll be more careful buying future iFi products.

New (was back in 2021) iFi Zen Stream device

That is the latest official release. I installed a Beta release that had some issues but all was good enough after a few updates. We thought recently that Zen might have pulled the latest release after a user could not get any updates. I am guessing nothing to be worried about unless you’re Zen is bricked. The way I look at it is that it would be a good thing if a couple of us kept these files for safety reasons, just in case the worst happened. There wasn’t an issue for the longest time bu…
