Description of Issue -

What is the exact port forwarding error message you see in the Roon Settings → ARC tab?

Hi @Manuel_Quijano_Ramir,

There is no port specified in the screenshot . Did you enter a number here? For instance 55000 or 55002? Please try that first and see what happens.

I have tried both 55000 and 55002 and they don’t work.

Have your tried another port range, such as 44000, or 58000? These ranges tend to be unreserved by ISPs, but in your case your ISP may be using or reserving a block in the 55000 range .

Thank you very much for your suggestion. I’ve tried the ports you mention and it doesn’t work either. I will continue to wait for a solution.

Hi @Manuel_Quijano_Ramir,

Could you post the full Roon Arc error message?
Could you also tell your setup, which modem/router is connected to what via ethernet or WiFi?

Thanks.

Maarten.

The details of my set up are indicated at the beginning of this topic.

Hi,

In the error message is see an external_ipv6 address. Up to now, Roon Arc doesn’t support IPV6. Could you disable IPV6 in you router and try again?

Regards,

Maarten.

Ok. I’ll try. Thank you again for your help. Kind regards.

Hi @Manuel_Quijano_Ramir,

Please let me know if it works.

Maarten.

I tried to disable IPv6 on my router and it was not possible. I have contacted the technical assistance of my ISP and they have deactivated it for me. Immediately ARC automatically connected on reboot. Thank you very much for the help. Kind regards and Merry Christmas.
