Even with te tekst below here I can not manage.

For the record: of everything I have the latest updates (Os-X, Router, Roon)
The comments for the problem are

I.ve done the best I can in my fritz!box 5590 to look at upnn and nat and forwarding

Can I please get help in simple tekst or screenshots how to manage this?

Message sent.

@Jos_Galgenbeld, to take a screenshot on your Mac, use these instructions.

To post in the forum, uses these.

PS. I tidied up your opening post, so the Roon message is easier to read.

@Martin_Webster I think Jos wanted guidance screenshots rather than guidance on how to take a screenshot?

Yess thank you @Martin_Webster and @Ratbert ; yes making screenshots is not the problem. Getting Arc to work would be great. Thanks for your message Ratbert, I I will answer that first now.

Hi @Jos_Galgenbeld,

Put simply, this error code means that UPnP is not properly functioning in the router. UPnP autoconfigures port forwarding for ARC. If it’s not working, there are usually two workarounds:

  1. First, enter the Fritz!Box settings and turn UPnP off and back on. Restart RoonServer. UPnP should be prompted to autoconfigure ARC again.

  2. If that doesn’t work, then re-enter the Fritz!Box web administration page and turn UPnP off entirely. Instead, in the Port Forwarding section, create a TCP-protocol port forwarding rule that points to the Port Number and IP Address listed in Roon Settings → ARC>

If you’re still stuck, then you’re likely up against a level of carrer-grade network address translation put in place by your internet service provider. This would be outside Roon’s control, unfortunately, but you can often work around it by requesting a dedicated IPv4 address, native IPv6, or installing a peer mesh VPN like Tailscale.

Please post here once you’ve tried steps 1 and 2 above and we’ll continue to help you.
