Usually, I can go to the three dots beside a downloaded album and select remove from downloads. With a downloaded playlist, this option does not exist. I can delete the playlist, but that actually deletes it from existence. Is this just a missing functionality? I am using iOS.

Do you mean a playlist which you have downloaded to your iPad or iPhone? Like a playlist you have created in Roon but are not streaming songs from as they are saved on your IOS phone?
To clarify. These are all songs I own and have in my roon server. I have built the playlist in Roon and I have downloaded the playlist into Arc.

So not downloaded songs. I’m pretty sure that the answer is No… you cannot delete the playlist as the Roon Arc simply gets your playlist from your Roon server. It’s the one and only playlist.
It appears that you can download certain Playlists, but not others (I think the criterion is that a downloadable Playlist must only consist of local files, not streamed content). Once downloaded, you can remove them from your ARC device by selecting them in the Downloads screen and then selecting “Remove from downloads”…
Yah. Guess that makes sense, although kind of strange. I may have a playlist that I listen to often on Roon and decide that once in awhile I’d like that playlist downloaded on Arc, especially for offline listening. But I may not always want to keep it downloaded. No option for this it seems.
Well, like I said - if the Playlist (and its content) can be downloaded, then you can remove it and the downloaded content from your ARC device whilst leaving the Playlist intact in your Roon Library…
I can’t do that, not on iOS. I have the option to remove downloads on each individual album, but not on the playlist.
Does your Playlist have only local file content? If so, then you should see the download option in two places in ARC… Should be the same for both iOS and Android.
Ahhh. Thank you. I was always clicking on the … beside the playlist (which does not include the option to remove downloads).
