As the title says. I get in the car, start a playlist, or album. When I leave the car and get back in the car, ARC no longer knows what track was “now playing” or which tracks are in the queue.

Having the same issue. Sometimes it will restart by skipping to the next track.
The only way to resume the current session is to restart it on my iPhone which beats the purpose of having CarPlay in the first place.
Annoying…
