ARC use overseas not on par with PlexAmp

I can’t get reliable streaming of my library overseas with Arc, whereas PlexAmp is rock solid here. Any idea why and whether there is something I can do on my end to fix this? I’d much rather use ARC.

That probably depends on where “overseas” is. That could be anywhere in the world.

EDIT: As long as you have strong, reliable internet, it should not matter where you are.

How have you set up ARC? I’m currently abroad, and ARC is working well. I use Tailscale instead of port forwarding, and fine this approach reliable.

I just got back from Barbados and Arc worked perfectly on the resort wifi. I was quite impressed!

Also used half way across the world with no issues. But, as above I avoid issues by using Tailscale.
