Attenuating room reverberation through DSP

Hello,

I have a room reverberation issue with RT60 values above 1 second. Can I attenuate this problem with DSP anyhow?

No DSP cant really help here at the moment room modifications are the best thing to help with this sort of stuff.

Saying that Thierry at Home Audio Fidelity is attempting to correct for diffusion in some way. Here is his latest blog on it. How effective it is at this point is unknown.

You can’t change the room reverberation but you can change its impact by modifying the source signal. Convolution filters will bring improvements and I can make a demo if you send me acoustics measurements (instructions here)
