Shouldn’t the top leads be Yellow/White?
No. He severed part of his left ear so only needs the right channel. 
Ah! ok, as i could see a left ear in the image i thought the right one was affected and the self portraits (that’s probably the clue) suggests the right ear though we know that’s not the case 
Perhaps that photo was taken before he lopped it off! 
You have to think that those are self-portraits and almost for sure done using a mirror so it is mirrored. so he did cut his left. so @PixelPopper in the first image you see his right. I never knew channels with colours
