Audirvana has always had an edge to my ears. It just does not provide the rich environment of Roon. However, it is nice to see that they created a version to satify a subset of user’s demands. Audirvana plus PlexAmp might be a good alternative if as promised Roon drops 1.8 in the next few months and goes Internet only.

Audirvana Origin and Studio present lots of challenges for me.
One of the problems:
I have a sizable number of XRCD’s and ripped them for usage in Roon and Audirvana.
Audirvana doesn’t recognize them in a correct way. They usually get split up in 2 discs, Cd1 and Cd2 and the tracks get renumbered.
I bought Origin as a backup possibility, but it simply is not usable for me.
