I’ve built a fanless streamer running Debian for just running RoonBridge. My amp has a built-in HiFace1 chip (which is not USB Audio 2 yet) for it’s DAC.
If I turn the amp off, the DAC is disconnected. If I turn it back on, most often it will just pop up in Roon again, but sometimes the streamer doesn’t recognise it which is kind of annoying. It doesn’t show up with aplay -l. A reboot is a quick fix but is there any way to make this more robust?
