Roon Room Correction (Try saying that fast 5 times)
Not sure if this feature has been requested before, however i think it would be great if Roon can implement their own Dirac Live/Room Correction software within the app.
Basically you plug in a Roon certified/approved microphone into your laptop, PC or tablet and place it in your seating position, the app will then play several tones through your speakers to measure the frequency response of your room (data collected from the microphone). It then adjust the sound to best fit the room and maybe give you additional options to adjust the frequency response to suit your taste. Obviously it’s more technical than this but you get the idea. I think this would be a brilliant addition!
Even if Roon wanted to sell their own microphones which have been approved/tested by them, I would actually buy this and I’m sure others will.
