B1159 IOS Roon Remote unable to connect to core [Answered]

I am running Rock 2.0 (build 1159) as my core and trying to access it from my ipad running production 2.0 (build 1148). The Remote cannot connect to the core, because of an ‘incompatible version’.

I wanted other members of the household to run production remotes, while I was testing the early access versions. It’s this not possible?

Hello @Roger_Cliffe,

This is not possible. Both Core and Remote should be using builds from the same branch, otherwise, there might be instabilities in how those operate.
