Description of Issue

Today I updated Roon in my Windows 10 Pro PC and it does not run anymore. It does nothing after double click on the icon. On my macOS laptop it runs.

I have the same issue on Win11 Pro. There’s a workaround though: navigate to “%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Roon\Application\200001228” and launch Roon.exe from there.

I had the same issue on Windows 11 Pro running Roon Remote. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it was fine.

You have to download and reinstall 1228 over your existing updated version on W10 and W11 devices. There is something affecting the earlyaccess 1228 updater installation, but downloading and re-installing repaired eveyrthing.

I reinstalled Roon Remote and it worked.

Please post issues occuring after earlyaccess updates in #early-access as recommended by the earlyaccess help page. This will alert to the developers to new issues and avoids confusing users of regular builds
