B1275 Incorrect Knowledge Base Link for MUSE

After updating to B1275, I see this page on in DSP settings on the desktop app:

I thought that MUSE was just for DSP settings in ARC, so I was curious to learn more about what it does in the desktop app. However, when I click on the link (https://help.roonlabs.com/portal/en/kb/articles/dsp-engine), I’m taken to the old (and somewhat poorly formatted) Roon Help page on the DSP Engine. There’s no mention of MUSE.

Perhaps the MUSE help page has not been written yet, but the application should NOT direct users to page to learn more about a feature when there’s no mention of that feature on the page.

Also, I’m not sure that I want MUSE to “algorithmically alter the audio signal” in ways that I did not specify deliberately. I was mostly interested in the knowledge base article so that I could make sure that MUSE is not doing something I don’t intend it to do.

Already being discussed here:

Just saw that…the Android-specific title made me think that was a completely separate issue. I’ve since commented on that thread.

Launching the MUSE brand this way seems like a terrible idea. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I don’t know about the marketing, I just don’t like that it’s named like a crappy band :joy:
