B1310 app freeze when re-opening app [Investigation]

I have had this happen many times where I am listening to music, multi task to another app on my iPhone then come back to Roon only to find it frozen. Have to force close and re-open to get the now playing status back.

If I choose to go back it does go back but just see an hourglass waiting for a connection.

If this has been reported I apologize. I couldn’t find one. I uninstalled the app and trying fresh install.

Edit. Fresh install didn’t work.


Same issue here with my iPad. Freezes when i go to other apps, ie Facebook or Safari, and go back to Roon.

Could you, please, tell me if your OS generates a crash report when this problem appears? Or is this a part of the connection issue?

How would I know if it generates a crash report? Does it pop up and say Roon crashed? No it doesn’t. Just frozen.

I Also have had Roon freezing on iPad Pro M1 for sometime now. Not crashing, simply freezes or stops responding.
