B1405 iOS crashes in background

I am seeing less of the awful frozen app hang issues with this build so I am not having to swipe-quit to restart as much.

BUT I am seeing very persistent crash when the Roon app is in the background for more than a short time.

Just to make sure I hope you do click Share, which should give the developers some actionable debug info

Hi, @ncpl, thank you for the report, I think it might be the same issue as with Android app freezing when returning back to the app but that’s the way how it exhibits itself on iOS. We could reproduce and created a ticket for our dev team, hopefully, we are going to have a fix coming for this in the next EA. When it’s out, let’s revisit this thread.

I think overall speed of app is improved in the last couple of builds and ghastly app freeze is also improved (not gone but better). So, efforts in this area very much appreciated.
