Please help!
Not an advertised feature of MUSE for ARC, so not there.
PS: Probably phones lack the processing power to run those convolution filters?
I would think the filters would run on the core? If not, why not?
Edit: OK I guess more than one concurrent ARC user may exist, and parallel heavy DSP for more than one is too much for most cores. I keep forgetting that not everyone lives alone
From the release notes:
MUSE delivers one of the most requested upgrades to ARC and brings an advanced signal-processing engine to your phone.
So MUSE is about bringing (basic) DSP processing to your phone (a Roon ARC exclusive feature). Convolution filters and Audeze presets aren’t an advertised part of MUSE’s feature set though.
MUSE places bold EQ handling, optimized balance control, precision volume leveling, DSD support, crossfeed, headroom management, and sample rate conversion in the palm of your hand.
There seems to be no feature parity between Roon’s DSP and MUSE for Roon ARC (so far).
Found PEQ from internet, not as good as one in Roon but good enough and more enjoyable, I don’t have to stick with Cipher cable
I though ARC is portable and earphone focused platform so Audeze preset EQ also included in EQ feature, will be bringing to ARC as well, hopefully will be added in future release.
This would be a first. The existing presets live in a separate DSP module and are for Roon’s convolution filter.
