Background audio analysis speed question

Under Settings>Library>Background audio analysis speed displays Analyzing: 1545 / 1548 continuously. What is happening?

Nothing a quick restart of Roon Server won’t fix.

If the restart does not fix the problem, then it is possible that you have an audio file that blocks the analysis. I experienced this once.

Same hapends to me, i have 2 files that are in background analysis forever, how can i identify this files and fix them

I think only the counter is broken, i.e. analysis completed, but counter reports wrong numbers.
What I do is I turn analysis off, then back on. Done.

Thanks Vlad. Do you think the counter is unnecessarily taxing the NUC Roon Server?
But I may take your advice and turn it off when not in use.

Just did a Stop and then a Reboot which seems to have cleared that up.

Happens often it’s a bug they don’t seem to bothered fixing as it’s been reported countless times. Randomly occurs and is accumulative. If you leave it add more it will get stuck again but with 2 less then a the complete count and continue. I put in a ticket quite recently no reply.

Thanks. My only concern is whether its taking processing power from the NUC. That said, a Stp & then a reboot eliminated it for the time being.

It will come back, it always does. I can’t work out what actually causes it though.
