Sorry. I should have been clearer. I will be grouping 8 Bluesound endpoints via roon for whole house audio. I only listen to Tidal. Each endpoint will be accessing the same stream as a group. I thought each endpoint eats up bandwidth even though I am playing the same music everywhere. For the most part, everything will be hard wired.
Roon Core gets one stream from Tidal server via the internet, then distributes it to your 8 endpoints via your internal network.
Yes, each endpoint requires one uncompressed PCM (48000Hz * 24bit * 2 channel) ~ 2.3Mbps stream over RAAT - TCP in your internal network, this is unrelated to your internet bandwidth. Since everything is hardwired, you probably have a theoretical 1000Mbps bandwidth internally.
In addition, there is one FLAC-compressed stream from Roon Core to Tidal server via http(s). This depends on your internet bandwidth, and I believe, more related to the regional Tidal server you happen to be using.
