BBC Radio 3 — Metadata Service Error ETIMEDOUT

I’ve been getting this error all day today; never had an issue with BBC radio streams before.

My WiiM also had R3 problems today, and from their forums it seems common.

Perhaps the BBC have adjusted their streams today?

Also received that yesterday.
Playing fine today … then again, I’m used to the Roon BBC Radio 3 feed dropping out on a regular basis, which never happens when using internet radio on my Ruark R810. Sonos would also drop out but I seldom use those devices these days.
So … Ruark fine … Roon less so. Then again, just pleased that I can get a high bit rate BBC Radio 3 feed

This metadata service issue is affecting lots of stations, not just Radio 3. It’s not something I can fix my end - it needs Roon.

Thanks both.

I’ve seen a number of people reporting regular R3 dropouts, for some time, but it’s never affected me, thankfully. So it does appear the metadata timeouts aren’t related.

Metadata is working again for me; well, has been for the last 30 mins…
