We’ve certainly seen many hands full of artists selling parts of your catalog or even your life’s work for sums in the hundreds of millions. There has even been a separate billion-dollar investment fund (KKR & Co.) set up to buy the market dry.
Just found this checking to see if anyone had already noted. I’m pretty slow in the uptake it appears…
