I see what you mean. But hybrid tube/SS and tube mode are options you can toggle on/off for added flavor. In solid state mode the PRO iDSD does not measure bad, and it does sound great with hqplayer in dsd256 7EC super. I know there has not been a lot of objective review/measurements on that. This is a more recent review with limited measurements I found.
