Best way to move library

I have my library on a 1TB SSD resident on the same computer that my Roon Core is on. I want to copy all of my music to a larger drive and put it on the same computer. I have edited a lot of the titles and also have tagged most of them. What is the best way to move them so I don’t have any problems ? If I move them to a drive with a different name, disconnect the original drive, and tell Roon to look at the new drive, will all my edits, tags,etc be preserved ?
