A half hour ago I attached a rpi 4B to a display 2 and now I’m waiting for the update to pop up. I have also have the old display and a spare rpi 4B. I assemble those the coming days and I let you know the outcome.

Pi 4 With Display 1 works with beta 2025.03.
Pi5 With Display 2 doesn’t get past the installation phase. I have reflashed the SD card and will try again once I get the beta notice. The screen does turn on during the boot phase though!

I’m up and running with the display2 en rpi 4B. I had to select the display in the advanced tab.
I never had een display before.
In the Roon settings on the display tab I do not see the display. And when I select the volume tab I don’t see the display. But maybe that is the way to be. Now I go to sleep. Tomorrow I have a look in the manuals…

Just open a new browser tab and navigate to the device.
I have tried, but it doesn’t seem to be appearing. Even when I go to the Pi 4 IP address, I don’t see it listed under devices. The Pi5 and Display 2 are on a zone labeled Studio.
Did it work rifht after a fresh install?
I haven’t gotten it to work on the Pi5 and Display 2. I installed it upon release, froze on installation. Reflashed, froze on installation of beta again. Pi4 and Display 1 are working as intended with Beta 2025.03
But forget about the screen for a moment. Are you able to install a stable version to this Pi 5?
Yes. I can install a stable version, and it works fine. It is when I try and install beta, it freezes on the installation phase.

Harry my 3 devices all had notifications for the update being available this morning. 2 of the 3 installed perfectly, but the third came back up with the previous beta.
I will give it time to download again and see what happens and if it fails again I will send you feedback

I updated my 5 RoPieees, of which 3 have a Display 1. RPI3 and RPI4. All OK.
The issue with displaying the zone is indeed fixed.

Thanks Harry. I tried installing the beta straight from the image provided with no luck. Pi4 and Display 1 are updated with the latest beta and working great.
Pi5 and Display 2- not able to get past installation, when I flashed the beta that you provided, I didn’t get the boot screen on Pi 5+Display 2 and never saw any action on the IP. I have reflashed the Pi5 + Display 2 with the latest stable version, and turned back on beta. I will install the latest beta when it pops up and let you know (even though, that is probably the same that you just provided). Thanks for all the support!
