Since last November, the Roon software has been split into two separate applications:
- Roon - which is the control and GUI
- the Roon Server
The issue that you are reporting will only affect the Roon GUI application; the Roon Server application has no GUI component and in fact is designed to run on headless systems.
I think you need to check which Roon component you are launching - it appears that you are attempting to launch Roon, rather than Roon Server.
