Blues piano player, Henry Gray, dies at 95

Best known for playing with Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters and Junior Wells, his piano helped create that Chicago Blues sound & 80 years of music.

Henry lived in Baton Rouge LA for most of his later years and was a mainstay at Tabby Thomas’ Blues Box and local festivals. He not only kept his touch on the keyboard, but was always gracious to younger musicians and fans and willing to talk about “the old days”.
