Bluesound Note 2i as a pure digital streamer

I have a Bluesound Node 2i, Cambridge Audio CXN v2, and Lumin u1 mini. I have used each as a streamer only with a Chord Qutest DAC. All three work well over WiFi and Ethernet in my house and sound good. I’d say there are small sound improvements with each step up in price, but whether or not they are worth it depends on how much you want to spend to eek out improvements in your system. I think the Bluesound is exceptional for the price.

If the Node 2 would have transferred DSD over usb to my Dac, I would have kept it as a dedicated streamer
