I am using Ropiee with Roon on the Boss 2 newest install I have several other Allo Dacs not the Boss 2 and they play fine with Roon and 192. 24 bit, The Ropiee version is 6.170 Linux SPKFSH-v8+ Roon 2.0 version1364. I can play 96K 24 bit any suggestions why the allo boss 2 will not play the 192kz 24 bit?
Post a screenshot of the signal path. It could highlight a cause.
Hello I have a couple of screen shots, this Boss 2 Dac is hard wired on a 1 gig network switch so is the Mac server, I don’t have this issue with any of the other 3 dacs they are not Boss2 type.
This shows it’s 192khz
You have a 5 band PEQ so will convert to 64bit float, apply the 5 band PEQ and then convert to 32bit.
It remains 192khz, not 96khz

Thanks I removed the PEQ and now its playing as it should , I didn’t realize that was on, but in any event were back in business.
