I recently bought a Brennan B2. It rips CDs in FLAC format. I had previously added ripped files to VOX. The problem is that when the Brennan rips to a FLAC file there is no Artist or a generic “Some Artist”. The Roon Mac desktop player directed to the Brennan Music Folder, still recognises the album but I am wondering whether Roon completes the metadata including the Artist and Album Art?
Roon does not add tags to your files.
I would use a tag editor such as MP3Tag to add basic tags to your FLAC files. I don’t add artwork as it’s easier to just add a folder.jpg to each folder.
