That’s good news but still one too many lockups. Do you recall what the circumstances were when that occurred ?
It wasn’t a lock up as such. Roon said it was playing but no sound was coming out and when I remote desk’d into the audio pc HQP had crashed. As soon as I started it back up sound leapt from the speakers which was unusual - I would normally have had to at least press pause/play in Roon. Trouble is that I can’t remember what I did to trigger it. I don’t think I was changing tracks as I would have noticed (as that was what I was looking out for). Overall, it was a massive, massive improvement and it could easily be something else in my slightly convoluted signal chain that caused problem (for example - and this is pure speculation - HQP not liking some BIOS optimisation/service shut down/other tweak that’s in play).
Next time I get to listen I’ll make sure I make a note of any issues.
