It’s been a little while since I gave the LX521.4’s some love so I recently upgraded the ASP to Frank’s (https://linkwitz.store) V2.1 cascaded ASP and the new Magnesium lower mid range, this has brought about an almost new speaker experience to my now 10year old DIY units. Suffice to say that if you haven’t heard a pair of these incredible speakers then you really need to.

There are new Linkwitz lounges coming online all over the world, so your options are getting better, plus they will be at AXPONA again this year…and a few other shows too

If only my listening room was about 5 m² larger!

Still, I might be tempted as a retirement project in 3 years’ time. If they really turn out to be too much for the room, I’m sure they’d sell on at minimal loss…

My room where I used them originally was only 3x5m and closed but now I have them downstairs in a 5x9 meter space but the room is open to the rear of the listening position

For smaller rooms the LXmini+2 is an awesome setup
