For those who may use PlexAmp for music playback and to Sonos zones, you may have experienced PlexAmp is failing again to connect to Sonos zones via the Plex/Sonos integration.
Over the years I’ve always just used something else to play my music to my Sonos zones, but this time around I got bored and did something about it.
Caldera Sonos Bridge is exactly that.
It uses the latest Caldera (which replaces the headless PlexAmp) and allows playback to Sonos zones as if they were Caldera zones.
It’s v0.1.0 and is working for me, and switching between Sonos zones is really snappy.
A minor niggle with the progress back not keeping time second by second and I’ll look at that next week.
