In my experience the CXNv2 cannot play native DSD. Any files played over DOP using the internal DAC are converted to 24 bit 384 khz. As is the case with any source as they pass through the ATF2 upsampling engine when using the analogue outs.
When using the digital outs to an external DAC the source bypasses the internal DAC in bitperfect, non-upsampled form. I send DSD64 from my PC to the CXNv2 over DOP, then digital out to my external DAC. The DAC always reports the correct file and format DSD64.
