Anyone who knows when Cambridge Audio will be ready for software update to get Qobuz Connect?
If any Cambridge technicians are looking here - please chime in.
Probably end of the year from what I have been reading.
I’ve got a vague email response from Cambridge 2 weeks ago, saying nothing but they are looking at it.
Reading between the lines, one better should not have high hopes for the older streamers like (my) CXN v2.
I’m afraid so. I have a CXN V2 as well. It doesn’t even support Amazon Music.
Out of my 3 streamers only my WiiM Ultra currently supports Qobuz Connect. My CXN V2 and Bluesound Node X do not. Bluesound is also very vague about QC from what I’ve gathered.
Saw some news yesterday, presumably originating from Cambridge Audio, that Qobuz Connect will be integrated in their next major firmware update, which is announced for October 8th, 2025.
If I understood the announcement correctly, they said StreamMagic Gen 4 will be updated, which means Evo devices and CXN100 and alike. Your streamer employs a previous gen streaming engine, so most likely will not get Qobuz Connect. In contrary, Spotify Connect should work on even older models, they wrote.
There is a Roadmap for Qobuz Connect in the CambridgeAudio Community Hub. Gets semi regular updates from Liam McMillan who is the Community Manager at CA. I find it quite useful, you can sign up and be notified of any updates.
Edit. Oscar Stewart (Product manager)posted on the Roadmap five days ago that the Beta version of Qobuz Connect will be available in a couple of weeks, so hopefully sometime next week?
I read about October 8th as the release date for this firmware version.
Thanks for the link, where it is stated that Qobuz Connect will eventually be coming to Gen2 and Gen3 Cambridge streamers as well, which includes CXN V2, CXN and Azur851 in my understanding. If that is the case - Kudos to Cambridge Audio for keeping legacy gear up to date!

Qobuz Connect now live - got the email below from Cambridge
Liam here. Community Manager at Cambridge Audio.
Big update today: Qobuz Connect is here.
Our latest StreamMagic release adds Qobuz Connect to all Gen 4 Cambridge Audio streamers (Evo, CXN100, EXN100, MXN10 and AXN10).
You can now play music directly from the Qobuz app in up to 24-bit/192kHz high resolution, with seamless control and great sound.
If you’d like to learn more, I’ve put together a short announcement video on YouTube. You can watch it here.
Did the firmware update in the night and can confirm: Qobuz Connect works flawlessly on Cambridge Evo!
Waiting for my CXN V2. Apparently end of this year or in January.
