You have some great amps to chose from, and the Susvara is probably my target of I decide to update my headphones. I have the HEKv1 and the HD800S for now .

I should point out that the Chord Hugo TT 2 works by itself, without the M-Scaler, and then is priced like the Benchmark combo, at $5,000. How good is it, how much does the M-Scaler add? How would I know, I’m not a reviewer, I haven’t compared.
Note that all online retailers have a return policy, so you can try them out.

To be realistic £300 is my maximum and as my current amp is fine really, I’ll probably spend it on books. 
How does the MScaler compare to Roon DSP upsampling? I just bought a Qutest. The MScaler looks pretty trick.
I have discussed the M-Scaler technology previously — I think it is not really about upsampling, it’s about implementing the Shannon-Nyquist theory in practice, the upsampling is incidental. Roon can upsample, most of my DACs upsample, but the Chord stack is sweeter…
