When building my ROCK I was able to successfully format the SSD Ex-Fat and Roon shows it as a storage location.
Can I make it my default?
The ROCK shows it as Roon Optimized Core Kit Internal Storage. Watching for new files in real time.

I honestly don’t see why not, I have my 4tb set as default.
To the far right are 3 dots. Options are Force Rescan, Disable, and Edit? Edit would seem what needs to be done. Clicking on Edit are 2 choices for iTunes and other playlists and Ignored Paths.
No - you don’t choose edit - unless you want to import Playlists (iTunes or other playlists using M3U files)
The Internal Storage folder is already your default folder - you don’t need to do anything - other than copy local files into it.
Thanks Geoff. I know I overthink and overcomplicare things. Do I use Finder? Most of my music fles are on my 4Tb OWC SSD \\198.162.1.2 \Roon Folder 1 and a smaller one \\192.168.1.2\qobuz .
I assume that Method #2 is what you will use.
