Basically I found the auto tagging system of room far from satisfactory and I have no interest in letting it take over whatever I have already managed manually with mp3tag or foorbar. The situation is especially bad when it comes to non-english albums. Singers with correct names in the tag are shown to be random mistaken names in roon. Is there any way to turn this functionality off? I’d simply prefer to use room just as a basic music player mainly for the remote library function recently provided in V2. Is that possible? Thanks in advance!
@Dan_Qiao, how do you have your library import settings configured? You can select your own metadata/tags in place of Roon’s for a number of categories in the Settings → Library → Import settings tab.

This does not hinder roon to add beamten and wrong data to the maintained credits and insert the wrong stuff as duplicates.
