Cannot locate a download file or update to the 1321 early access server build

Hi, hoping someone can assist me with this issue. I have the early access Roon build installed on both my Mac and iPhone, but I’m still showing the 1311 production build of the Roon Server installed in the apps. It searches for updates and tells me I’m on the latest. Is there not an early access Server build to go with the early access app, or does the early access app still use the server production release? The release notes suggest that there is a 1321 server build but I’m unable to access it. Thanks in advance for your help!

So I have to install the latest Roon early access build on my Mac to act as a server, and set up all my sources and settings all over again? The Mac app runs constantly in the background now instead of as a background process? That’s what it looks like to me—that I have to set everything back up again. What is the advantage of this scenario over the previous?

It’s all there in the release notes, please refer to them. “What’s Changing”, “Why Change”, and “What’s Next” in:

Thank you for your help. I’m not thrilled about having to rebuild my whole database and infrastructure but if I’m going to go with a prerelease build I signed up for that. I’ll check out the resources you suggested, appreciate it. Right now my system is working fine with the early access app linked to the existing server client so I’ll defer this mess until I have time to rebuild everything.

I don’t think you have to do that, this would be crazy. Certainly there are other options. At some point this will be an update for all users and the idea is to simplify things, not make 100,000 Roon users start from scratch

I must say I take exception to the claim that this is a seamless process. When I am now trying to create a new server through the desktop software it’s a fresh install with none of my prior settings carried over. If you have any knowledge of a workaround for that I’d sure be grateful.

I suggest you post in the referenced existing thread were migration questions and issues have been discussed and where you will find more people watching the thread who already made the move. I haven’t because I use ROCK.

Or maybe if you read it you will already find the answers
