I still can’t connect to Roon Arc. I’ve tried following your debug page and looking for similar cases here, but still no luck. My service provider told me things looked ok from their side.
The IP on the router is:
WAN Gateway IP Address 45…aaa.bbb.ccc
WAN IP Address 45.ddd.eee.fff
Primary DNS Server 8.8.8.8
Secondary DNS Server 1.1.1.1
The IP in my computer and phone is 192.168.20.1
Below is Roons Arc diagnose:
{
“connectivity”: {“status”:“NetworkError”,“status_code”:504,“error”:“error: Error: ETIMEDOUT, response code: undefined, body: undefined connected? undefined”},
“external_ip”: {“actual_external_ip”:“45.aaa.bbb.ccc”,“router_external_ip”:“null”},
“natpmp_autoconfig”: {“status”:“NotFound”},
“upnp_autoconfig”: {“server_ip”:“192.168.20.1”,“found_upnp”:true,“error”:“Did not find UPnP service with WANIPConnection on network”}
}
@Ernesto_Llamas, welcome to the community. A fellow user here, but I moved your post to the Port Forwarding support category and I edited your post to remove your public IP address for privacy/security reasons.
The error message your received in the Roon ARC tab suggest that UPnP is not properly configured on your router.
Please first try the following steps:
Try to enable UPnP/NATPMP in the web administration interface for the router directly upstream from your Core
Try to manually open the port in your router’s port forwarding configuration
Make sure the IP/Port matches the Port listed in Roon → Settings → ARC
Check for any VPNs or Firewalls that might be interfering
Check if your modem is in Bridge mode
If you continue to experience difficulties, please tag the support team and include the following information:
What is the make and model of your modem and router?
Do you have any additional network hardware, like additional routers or managed switches?
Who is your internet service provider and what is your geographic region?
Is your Modem configured in Bridge Mode so that it operates only as a modem or do you have the ports forwarded on both?
While the appears complicated, two simple questions can help resolve most port forwarding issues like the one you’ve presented above:
Do you have two routers in your internet setup, or just one?
Who is your internet service provider?
Regardless of whether you answer “yes” or “no” to question one, please let us know the make/model of your router(s). Chances are, you’ll be able to change one or two settings to easily manually configure port forwarding.
