Hi Guys!
My very first day with Roon, so I will restrain myself a while from claiming to be a member of the team. However, from my northen sight of Stockholm, I find that our best national radio stations are not available. Let’s start with this one, of utmost interest:
This is the not yet for the public released high bitrate version of the Swedish radio (Sveriges radio) P2, the always seriosly curated classical music channel.
If of interest to compare with the lower bitrates, they are found here along with the other official channels of the well renowned Swedish national radio broadcasting:
Oh dear, you need to search in one word “sverigesradio” to find the most useful of them. The others (regional radio stations) are found as “sveriges radio”…
Should be useful if both ways of spelling were supported for all of them.
Hi Guys.
I got the same - 32 radio stations when searching for “sverigesradio”.
Problem is that searching for the native company name “Sveriges Radio” will provide only 27 radio stations - and you think that it is all… That was what happened to me.
Unfortunately, it’s the radio stations of audiophile interest (e.g. P2 musik) is not captured by this more concordant search.
And even more discouraging is that the useful links (AAC) is not working. They might need to be updated according to the following:
However, since a week or two, I can no longer invoke the AAC-links via Roon. It end up with a message (after the Started live radio message): “Playback was interrupted because a track failed to load.”
This does not happen with the MP3 links. They are working fine.
Invoking the same links directly from my ProJect StreamBox S2 Ultra (or via Foobar 2000 or the web browser) works fine.
Ooops!
I am running my Roon Core on a Synology NAS (DS1519+), and updated the Disk Station Manager software some three weeks ago. It could of course have ruined the basis, also for me to run AAC files.
