Can't initialize sound unit - Roon lost control over sound unit

Hi!

I’m running Roon on MacMini M1 with Tahoe 26.0.1. My sound unit is a Matrix X-SPDIF2 connected via usb.

The issue is that when I change song/album/artist Roon says it can’t initialize sound unit or Roon lost control over sound unit. It sometimes happens while playing a song. I then can’t play any songs unless I restart my Macmini.

I have given Roon all necessary permissions in privacy settings.

Anyone have any suggestions for solution?

There is a known issue with Tahoe that causes this. Roon is working on it. See the other forum threads about it
