Cant seem to point my new nucleus roon core to my backup file on my m1 mac. Help

Just did exactly that on a new NUC/ROCK install Take @Jim_F’s advice and do a single manual backup , your routine back ups , if they are anything like mine , consists of thousands of small files and take forever to copy to a Drive to achieve this . I eventually gave up and did just as Jim suggested . All restored without a blip.

make a single manual BackUp to a small USB drive (even a memory stick should work) connected to your current core. This will be the smallest file size.

Then transfer the drive to the Nucleus and it should be seen and navigable.

I just did exactly this to restore to my new NUC/ROCK, worked fine
