Does Roon count albums saved on Tidal toward its maximum capacity for the Nucleus, or is it just albums contained on one’s hard drive/NAS, etc.?
Interesting question, but, if I would hazard a guess, I’d say that it counts. I think the limit is based on number of albums in your library because it shouldn’t matter if the album is on a NAS or in the cloud, your RoonServer’s database is storing/processing that album’s information.

This was asked, and answered, a while back; and the answer is yes, TIDAL albums count.

@Geoff_Coupe @Rugby Thanks for the responses. I assumed that favorite Tidal albums would count but wasn’t certain. If I go for the entry-level Nucleus, I’d be more judicious in my Tidal favorites.
And, just to keep you on your toes, don’t forget that TIDAL limits how many albums you can add to your collection as well; currently between 7,500 and 10,000 albums I believe…
