I appreciate the recent focus on Playlists. Roon currently picks up locally stored playlist files. It incorrectly calls these “imported”. In any program I can think of in any context, “import” means bring into the program in a functional way. Roon is simply referencing play lists in a Read Only way. The word “import” should be saved for the act of Importing and this should be supported to import as a Roon-homed playlist or a Tidal/Qobuz homed playlist. Users can and should be able to do a 1 time import and not have the Read Only reference (users can simply move playlists out of the core Library path). The existing functionality should remain, but should be accurately labeled “Read Only” or “External”. Thank you for consideration.
