Originally debated about what the best headphone to get but sort of planned it around the Chord Hugo 2 at the time. Didn’t want a separate amp, so that eliminated a few off the top. But now know the Hugo 2 doesn’t do the Utopia’s justice compared to the Dave.
And since I heard the Dave had no issues powering the Utopia’s, felt this was the better choice than the Chord Hugo TT2. Favored resolution and layering over raw power. Haven’t heard the TT2 yet, but think I made the right choice going with the Dave. Adding the mscaler takes it to another level but the Dave alone is amazing.
