Chord Mojo 2 vs middle-price new chinese DACs

I’m asking only for the DAC section and wondering how the Mojo 2 should perform against some very good reviewed new chinese’s DACs just like the SMSL DO300 or even some more priced Gustard like A26 or R26.

I absolutely not speaking of features or fuctions or inputs because what I already have in the Mojo 2 is enough for me.

My setup is Raspberry → Mojo 2 → Audiolab 8300A → Acoustic Energy AE500

I use a Qutest and have listened to quite a few potential replacements from the stables that you mention. I have not heard anything that would be a worthy upgrade.

We assume that the Qutest is very close to the Mojo 2 (and viceversa)?

Did you try the XLR output of those dacs or just rca?

Once you get to perfect, it’s hard to improve on the sound reproduction of a DAC. And the Mojo 2 is apparently pretty close to perfect. It’s the side affordances that might make a difference. And you don’t care about those.
