Chromecast Audio and Ethernet Adaptor

Hi
Currently playing Roon via a chromecast audio disc into my Onkyo TX 8270 receiver - it works fine via wifi - but would like to give more stability via ethernet - so purchased an adaptor - but once I connect to the ethernet and play a track via Roon the start button changes to stop , but the sliding time bar does not move and there is no sound - just freezes like that

Any advice

Have you tried to use the ChromeCast from an Android device (Home app, music player) or with the Chrome browser to test if it’s a general problem or only Roon related?

Hi thanks for the advice - I decided to reboot my router , it seems by relocating ip addresses it resolved the problem
