It looks that this filter in the meantime is working quite well, it just takes a lot of time until Roon recognizes the “changes”. In generally the synchronization is very slow between Roon and Qobuz an this is not an issue with my my internet.
Do you mean something like this, @Aquarius_M_Taurus? If so, I can report that this unfortunately doesn’t work at all for Tidal tracks. I get a listing of a couple of albums, but all of the songs I’ve tried are still playable here.
You are right I do it the same way, just for Qobuz tracks. Shows albums sometimes but not everytime an album is missing.
Actually just 1 album is missing out of approx. 4,300 albums.
The pitty is that Roon does not show it but still Qobuz, so much fun to figure out which if nothing is shown with the above filter.
Doesn’t work every time in Qobuz, the filter thing indeed…
Let’s hope again with the new owner, ‘‘centered on old requests’’
Still not sure you catch them all… But the new feature (add tracks to Qobuz playlist) does correct the tracks and uses the new version in Qobuz - excellent
+1
Bumping this old thread. Only yesterday was I made aware of the existence of the library clean up. The requested feature here is something I sorely miss in Roon: a list of all tracks in my library that have become unavailable. Apparently, Roon proposes to delete nearly 1% of my library tracks!
Given the high number of votes (it’s around the #30 spot or so of all feature requests) and the seemingly low effort to develop this (Roon must have already compiled this exact list in the background or it could not give us the number of tracks nor execute the clean-up action), I would definitely categorize this as “low-hanging fruit”, Roon team!
Totally agree! It is a total black box now and not inviting to clean the database. Lost a lot of albums this way only to discover when I wanted to play them from my library…
Another big up for this feature. As an example, My clean up deleted files is showing 1410 files. I regularly clean files up here and the number here generally matches files I’ve changed or deleted in my library. In this case, I have only local files on my Roon Nucleus. I have not deleted 1410 files since I last ran this two weeks ago. I have no idea what these files that are missing are. As they are on my Roon Nucleus internal drive, I am very concerned that something is happening to that drive. Did those files get corrupted, did the drive have faults? Was there a mistaken deletion?
I regularly run backups from the internal drive to an online backup. I have it set to mirror the main drive. So that means if those files are missing, the backup will also have them missing after it mirrors. And I have to go back to a deeper backup to find those missing files. But eventually all my backups will have the missing these files because I don’t know they are missing. Do you see the issue?
Come on Roon users! Vote for this feature! Library cleanup shows another 21 items to delete. If it’s not available on Tidal anymore, maybe I want to buy it. But now I know nothing! Small add-on for the developers since it is already known what’s missing…
Well I’m not sure about the library clean but the new version is just awesome
Now we can find all the files that have a new version with a better resolution and also track down all the ones where the authorization rights changed and check if there’s anything worth in Qobuz or Tidal
Thanks to the new playlist improver feature
This would be real handy. Voted!
