Component Suggestions - Remote volume control

I am looking for component suggestions for a RCA (or RCA XLR) remote volume controller. A bonus would be multiple inputs and outputs. The main purpose is to place a remote volume control between my DAC and headphone amp. I found something workable from Decware like this. Any ideas of competing products out there? Thanks.

I had a Benchmark pre-amp. Can’t speak highly enough about the quality or the manufacturer.

Still $3000 is a lot of money and the device is probably not what you’re looking for.

If you do buy, buy from AudioAdvisor since they don’t charge tax, unless you’re in their home state.

Thanks Slim. It would certainly be a good choice as a standalone…I am trying to incorporate a remote volume control direct (with switching options) from my DAC to a Headamp GSX-mini (and Schiit Mjolnir2). I can do it by routing the remote volume control from my preamp (which is what I’m doing now). Benchmark makes great stuff. I have a DAC3 HGC, and auditioned the HA4 at Can Jam LA.
