On the Home Screen we have Artists, Albums, Tracks and Composers.
I have mainly jazz albums in my library, only a very few classic albums. On the Composers tap on the Home Screen I can see that I have 49 composers in my Library, which obviously is not true, as if I choose Show all Composers I can see that I have almost 2.000 composers. The 49 composers is the amount of Classical Composers.
Is there a way so that people like me, with only very few (or no) classical albums can have “all composers” as default? Or perhaps even better: hiding the Composers tap as I (almost) never uses this?
If this is not possible the tap on the Home Screen should be renamed “Classical Composers” (and almost useless for non Classical Listeners)
Thanks @Mike_O_Neill - I do use Focus a lot, but it cannot be used on the Home Screen.
What I’m pointing out is that one of the taps on the very top of the Home Screen is (probably) useless for many of us (if there is no way of customizing this).
It’s been this way since version 1.7 was released in 2020 I believe. I suggest that you make a feature request for this customisation in the #feedback:feature-suggestions category of the forum.
Thanks - I have made a feature suggestion. I know its a small thing, so probably not many votes for this one. Nevertheless, I think the home screen is misleading as it is now.
Personally I wish that far right button was “genres” rather than “composers” (yes I know “genres” is in the hamburger menu in upper left”). It would just be more useful for me…
